In a recent interview, Macca speaks in special ‘13 covers’ Beatles edition of NME where he announces that he would encourage the back catalogue to become available as Beatles Downloads. This is the first positive indication that the Beatles Downloads may become available sooner rather than later.
The Fab Four’s work has long been absent from official download services, but the bassist and songwriter said he and the band are keen for them to be available online – and blamed complications with contracts for the delay.
